Job Summary

The Enrollment Management division at CU Boulder welcomes applications for the CASE Building & Event Coordinator position! This role helps keep the Center for Academic Success & Engagement (CASE) running smoothly while creating awelcoming experience for everyone who visits, including prospective students and families, K-12 school groups, campus partners, campus departments, and community members.

The coordinator supports daily building operations, manages communication through the CASE Services inbox, assists with space reservations, and supports events. They also provide on-site support for evening and weekend programs, ensuring spaces are prepared, events run effectively, and guests have a positive experience.

Working closely with Visitor Experience, campus partners, and student staff, this position helps support information desks, event logistics, and building operations. During evening and weekend hours, the coordinator serves as the Manager on Duty, assisting student employees and making operational decisions as needed.

This position is well suited for someone who is organized,detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and can balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a skilled and accurate communicator, acollaborative partner, and a problem solver who approaches challenges with flexibility, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent service.

  • This is a fully in-person position and is not eligible for ahybrid work arrangement.
  • Full time position working 40 hours per week non-traditional schedule during the academic year:
  • Monday
    - Thursday 12pm-9pm Friday 10am-7pm
  • Week of exams 1pm-10pm
  • Summer semester and University academic breaks follow atraditional 8 am-5 pm schedule.
  • Flexibility required to support evening or weekend events.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Building Operations & Guest Experience
  • Serve as the primary contact for the CASE Services inbox,responding to questions and requests with competence, connection,confidence, character and care.
  • Support space reservations and coordinate with campus partners to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.
  • Help prepare and maintain meeting and event spaces before,during, and after use.
  • Support evening and weekend operations as the Manager onDuty.
  • Monitor building use and help ensure spaces are used safely and adhering to appropriate use of space policies.
  • Respond to facility, safety, or security concerns and coordinate with campus resources when needed.
  • Build positive relationships with visitors, student staff, CASE departments, and campus partners, and facilities staff.
Event Coordination
  • Coordinate event details including room setups, technology needs, catering, accessibility accommodations, and event requirements.
  • Maintain organized event documentation and reservation records.
  • Assist with prospective and admitted student events across campus.
  • Manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Student Staff & Front Desk Support
  • Support CASE Welcome Desk operations and studentemployees.
  • Assist with training, coverage, and answering questions.
  • Serve as a back-up resource during staffing shortages.
  • Help create a welcoming and inclusive experience for campus visitors.
