Employee Health and Well-Being Project and Operations Manager
The University of Colorado Boulder encourages applications for an Employee Health and Well-Being Project and Operations Manager! This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Employee Health and Well-Being and affiliated units, including the Contemplative Arts Learning and Meditation Center, Work Well, and Public Health initiatives. This role supports the daily functioning of the unit by assisting with project management for events and programs, reporting and research, and providing administrative and executive support.
The position also works on central initiatives through benchmarking research, report preparation, and coordination of meetings, events, and communications. This role plays a critical role in supporting the mission of Employee Health and Well-Being by ensuring efficient operations, enhancing program delivery, and contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities Will Be
Project Management for Programs and Events
- Coordinate project timelines, landmarks, results, and dependencies for strategic Employee Health and Well-Being initiatives.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks or logistical barriers, and communicate status updates to leadership.
- Support planning and execution of large-scale events such as the Health and Wellness Summit and Summer Farewell Fest.
- Facilitate communication among project sponsors, campus partners, and vendors to ensure alignment on priorities and project logistics. Assist with promotion, registration, and post-event evaluation.
- Assist with special projects and central initiatives, including research to practice initiatives, CU Recharge, health innovation projects, and public health interventions.
Research and Reporting
- Coordinate multiple concurrent projects by tracking action items, timelines, and results across interested parties.
- Develop and maintain project tracking tools, implementation plans, and status reports to support timely completion of central initiatives.
- Conduct benchmarking research on peer institutions and standard processes on new initiatives.
- Compile and analyze data to support program evaluation and reporting.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership and partners.
Executive and Administrative Support
- Manage complex calendars for the Assistant Vice Chancellor, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing requests, and resolving conflicts.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation, materials, and follow-up actions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries and communications, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents for an executive leadership audience.
- Maintain organized records, files, and administrative systems.
- Maintain high confidentiality of executive communications.
Financial and Operational Support
- Support project budget tracking, resource coordination, and procurement activities to help projects remain on schedule and within established guidelines.
- Process payments, reimbursements, and purchasing in accordance with university policies.
