Approximately 70% of the role focuses on diagnostics and advanced repair, including electrical, drivability, and complex mechanical concerns. The position includes paid training, professional diagnostic equipment, and consistent workflow in a 12-bay independent repair facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and complex repairs
- Repair steering, suspension, cooling, electrical, and other mechanical systems
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric
- Perform automotive maintenance and general repair services as needed
- Diagnose and repair primarily Domestic and Asian vehicles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- Strong automotive diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience performing complex mechanical repairs
- Experience with steering, suspension, cooling systems, and pressure testing
- Own professional automotive tools
- Independent repair shop experience preferred
