Shop Foreman - Holman Honda Centennial

Holman Automotive has an outstanding opportunity for a Shop Foreman to join the team at Holman Honda Centennial!

• Supervise, mentor and assist with the development of technicians in the workshop
• Monitor and manage OEM certification and Holman training for each technician
• Maintain inventory and readiness of special tools and equipment
• Partner with regional TDA to assist with onboarding and career development for technicians
• Serve as a liaison between the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Parts personnel, Technicians, Warranty Administration and clients
• Maintain close contact with OEM field technical service support personnel
• Ensure quality control inspections and road tests are completed as applicable post repairs
• Ensure adhesion to warranty policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
• Assign jobs according to technician/team skillset and workload requirements
• Manage team goals, metrics, KPI's, work volume
• Effectively coach, give performance feedback and provide development opportunities within own area of responsibility or department
• Assist with employee evaluations and goal setting

• 5-7 years’ experience in the automotive field as a technician
• Experienced in service principles, concepts and service department operations
• Reviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Current ASE Certifications preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record or minimal violations
• Strong computer proficiency, including dealership management systems (DMS), manufacturer service platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to accurately document repair information, track technician performance, and utilize reporting tools to support operational decisions
• Demonstrates adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies, software platforms, and digital service processes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold technicians accountable for productivity, efficiency, quality of work, and adherence to established procedures
• Proven ability to maintain and enforce shop standards, safety requirements, company policies, and manufacturer guidelines
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technicians through ongoing training, performance feedback, and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to identify performance gaps, address concerns promptly, and drive corrective actions to ensure consistent shop performance
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
