Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Data collection experience including interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits and utilizing these cases for application reverse engineering and task and workflow analysis
• Strong experience with methods, procedures, and practices of business analysis, process analysis and systems analysis
• Experience interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Troubleshooting experience

A local government client of Insight Global is hiring for a Business Analyst to join their team. This individual will support a data integration project to assist in enhancing their coordinated case management system. The Business Analyst will play a key role in evaluating current business practices, processes, and software applications to define project requirements and ensure successful delivery. Working closely with the Project Manager, this position plans and executes business analysis activities aligned with the project plan.

Responsibilities include eliciting requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process reviews, use cases, reverse engineering, and workflow analysis. The Business Analyst will review solution designs to confirm compliance with business, usability, and accessibility standards, compares alternative approaches, and recommends optimal solutions within budget and timeline constraints. Additional duties include creating and executing test plans, designing and delivering training, defining reporting requirements, identifying resource needs, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized and collaborative individual with excellent communication skills. This is a hybrid role in the Boulder/Longmont, CO where this individual will need to be able to attend a couple hours a week of in-person time to assist community and agency engagement.
