  • Develop proposals by assembling information, including project background, product design, technical details, tasks, objectives, outcomes, deliverables, methods, and budget. Write, revise, and edit drafts such as executive summaries, key assumptions, scopes of work, pricing, and timelines.

  • Emphasize highly technical and accurate proposal approaches to demonstrate value of KBI services and support rationale for related costs, assumptions, and timelines.
  • Maintain accuracy in proposal content, pricing calculations, timelines, and alignment to current internal best practices and templates. Maintain quality results using templates and proposal writing standards.
  • Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval.
  • Participate in client meetings (teleconferences and in‑person) as a technical sales representative. Represent KBI’s technical capabilities and project proposals to clients and address corrections, refinements, and alternative plans.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a centralized RFI/RFP knowledge database.
  • Assist business development team members in reviewing client Requests for Information (RFIs) and collating responses based on the knowledge database.
  • Manage and coordinate proposal development workflow between the business development group and SMEs (Process, Analytical, Formulation Development, Manufacturing Sciences, and Technology groups). Prepare minutes and escalation documents as necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum:

  • Strong time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task.
  • Capability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong orientation for quality, customer service, integrity, and personal responsibility.
  • Analytical strengths with attention to detail and solution‑oriented approaches.
  • Experience working independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to monitor, report, and relate to all levels of the organization.
