About the jobAs the Head of Strategy and Operations, Third Party Ecosystem, you will manage the Sales Go-to-Market (GTM) team supporting the Agency and Third Party Ecosystem business across Google’s global advertisers, partners and agencies and trade bodies. You partner closely with executive Sales leaders, cross‑functional stakeholders, and teams to ensure delivery of business priorities for Agency and Third Party Ecosystem, drive sales cadence, improve sales effectiveness and efficiency, and execute business‑accelerating initiatives globally.
The Go‑to‑Market Operations team ensures Google’s Ads business runs smoothly. We set strategy and ensure flawless execution and operations across the business.
US base salary range: $234,000–$326,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Minimum qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory experience, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- MBA or Master’s degree in a related field.
- 4 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
- 4 years of experience in people management.
- Experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
- Knowledge of Google’s Ads products, sales teams, or service operations, and the customer and engaged contexts in which they operate.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to and influencing executives.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify key questions and translate long‑term goals and strategy into defined projects.
- Partner with Project Director and Principal Leads to select projects and staff team capacity to lead projects that optimize operating structure and resource allocation or are aimed to streamline cross‑functional collaboration for faster execution.
- Lead projects that are operationally intensive and cross‑functional to ensure structure and timely delivery of project goals.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators and timelines for each project, regular metrics reporting, tie back to goals, and post‑implementation impact analysis.
- Develop best practices, templates, and tools specific to each domain that can be utilized for future initiatives.
