Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Steep Slope Roofing Estimator located in Boulder, CO. The Steep Slope Roofing Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating roofing and related construction projects, including conducting site visits, analyzing roof plans, preparing bids, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver tailored solutions. Additional tasks include coordinating material and labor needs, ensuring compliance with company and safety standards, and supporting quality control and timelines for each project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect residential roofs and assess scope for steep slope, shingle, and tile systems
  • Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and contracts
  • Meet with homeowners to explain scope, pricing, and timelines
  • Manage and follow up on company-provided leads
  • Coordinate clean handoff to production team after contract execution
  • Maintain accurate CRM and job documentation
Qualifications
  • Experience in roofing, particularly steep slope roofing, with familiarity in materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal
  • Knowledge of roofing techniques and working safely at height
  • Background in steep slope roofing, with skills in reading and interpreting roof plans
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to provide accurate project estimations
  • Effective communication and client management skills to collaborate with customers and project teams
  • Proficiency in relevant software or tools for estimating and project planning
  • Ability to work on-site in Boulder, CO and compliance with company safety protocols
