JOB DESCRIPTIONCaruso Ventures is seeking a Content Associate to support the production and distribution of podcasts, social media, and live/event-based content across Caruso Ventures’ and Dan Caruso’s platforms. This role focuses on hands-on content execution—helping turn conversations, ideas, and moments into polished, engaging media assets.
This is not a narrow specialist role. As part of a small, fast-moving team, you’ll wear multiple hats. Some days you’ll be editing podcasts, pulling short-form video clips, and publishing social content; other days you’ll be supporting event production, capturing on-site content, or assisting with content calendars and workflows. Promoting and supporting content such as The Bear Roars podcast, the book Bandwidth, the documentary Our Quantum Future, and events like Boulder Roots Music Fest is within scope.
The ideal candidate is excited by media and storytelling, thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, and is comfortable working across audio, video, written, and live content. You bring strong attention to detail, creative curiosity, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to help ideas come to life.

This role is ideal for an ambitious and curious individual early in their career who is eager to learn by doing, work closely with a small team, and gain meaningful experience across podcasts, social media, and events—while building a strong foundation for long-term growth in media and content production.
RESPONSIBILITIESPodcast & Media Production- Edit podcast episodes from raw audio and/or video files, following established formats and guidelines
- Ensure high-quality audio through basic cleanup, leveling, EQ, and compression
- Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Pull short-form clips for social platforms
- Add simple graphics, captions, intros/outros, and lower thirds as needed
- Organize media files and support publishing workflows
- Write clear, engaging copy for social posts, captions, and descriptions
- Schedule and publish content across platforms (Linked In, Instagram, X, Tik Tok, You Tube, etc.)
- Repurpose long-form content into platform-native formats
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages, supporting community engagement
- Assist with planning and coordinating events (panels, talks, community gatherings)
- Help manage run-of-show materials, timelines, and logistics
- Assist with post-event content editing and distribution
- Support coordination with vendors, venues, speakers, and internal teams as needed
- Help maintain content calendars and production schedules
- Collaborate with hosts, team members, and partners on content ideas
- Ensure consistency in brand voice across audio, video, written, and live content
- Stay up to date on social trends, formats, and best practices
- Pitch in across projects as needed, supporting broader office priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media, business, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience (or strong internship and/or portfolio experience) in content, media, or social
- Comfort editing audio and video;
Adobe Premiere Pro experience required - Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats
- Familiarity with analytics, digital tools, and social media best practices
- Proficiency with GSuite and Notion
- Interest in business, tech, and politics, particularly in Colorado
- Integrity, discernment, and regard for a high level of confidentiality
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to thoughtfully apply sound judgment in decision-making
- Detail-oriented; naturally adept and skillfully trained toward precision and accuracy
