Senior Multimedia Designer

• Provide multimedia, video, gaming, web development, and graphic design services for graphics and electronic media projects
• Provide technical assistance for proposals, presentations, multimedia projects, video projects, and web development assignments
• Independently conceptualize complex designs for advertisements, brochures, collateral materials, animations, immersive 3D environments, video presentations, web presentations, websites, and graphic simulations
• Research and secure suitable illustrative and photographic materials
• Plan presentations using illustrations, photographs, video, animation, programming code, and copy
• Create, select, and modify 3D models, illustrations, photography, video, animation, code, and writing
• Scan photographs and illustrations; digitize video and audio; render animation and video composites
• Establish appropriate type style, size, spacing, color, and composition
• Execute layouts and renderings using electronic design, illustration, photo, video, animation, and web development hardware and devices
• Operate peripheral equipment associated with computer graphics, media, video/animation, and output
• Coordinate with co-workers to ensure project format and quality consistency
• Consult with supervisors on final layout, medium, style, design, and problem areas
• Organize and maintain graphic request folders, labor sheets, and timesheets
• Assist with scheduling and production coordination to complete projects on time and within budget
• Provide guidance to other multimedia designers or team members as needed
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

• A.A. or B.A. degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Development or related major, or equivalent combination of formal education and experience
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in all phases of graphic, multimedia, video, and web design
• Working knowledge of multiple software packages including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, DVD Studio Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Maya, PowerPoint, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Cinema 4D, Twin Motion, Unreal, Unity, Synchro 4D, Lumion, LumenRT, Sketch Up, Acrobat Professional, Keynote, and Director
• Artistic ability, conceptual skills, and computer proficiency with both Mac and PC platforms
• Solid knowledge of current graphic and multimedia design, illustration, photography, and animation software and hardware
• Knowledge of hardware output devices
• Proficient MS Office Suite knowledge and experience
• Proficient proofreading skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Construction sequencing, gaming, and rendering experience desired

Demonstrates expertise in multimedia design, including graphic design, video production, and web development, with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. Capable of conceptualizing and executing complex designs while ensuring project quality and consistency.
