Associate Technical Designer

Full‑time – Boulder, CO

• Process, Data, and Vendor Management (50%) – Communicate comments to vendors, set up tracking charts, issue final production approvals, manage product data in PLM systems, push vendors for improvement, and resolve production issues.
• Fittings and Samples (30%) – Execute fit sessions, evaluate samples for fit and construction, organize samples, and ensure they meet construction standards and tolerances.
• Technical Blocks (15%) – Create spec sheets, build a pattern block library for consistent fits across all departments, and recommend enhancements while maintaining design intent.
• Research and Development (5%) – Conduct market research, work with sales to gather feedback, and ensure product quality aligns with KJUS consumer and strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design or related field (or high school diploma with four years experience).
• Minimum 2 years pattern making and technical design experience.
• Minimum 1 year PLM experience (Centric preferred).
  Moderate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in graded fit systems, pattern making software (Assyst preferred), and functional technical apparel with premium trends.
• Extended periods sitting/standing, occasional lifting, proficient MS Office skills.
• Passion for outdoor sports industry preferred.
