Internal Medicine Physician – Boulder County, CO

Job Summary

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join our Primary Care team. The role offers full and part‑time opportunities, with the flexibility for physicians to shape their practice as shareholder physicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and patient assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as clinically appropriate.
  • Educate and counsel patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
  • Stay current with medical advancements, evidence‑based practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in practice development and community outreach initiatives to support patient growth and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current medical licensure.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development.
