Compensation: $20 an hour and 1,200 scholarship depending on start date.

Job SummaryThis graduate assistantship is dedicated to working on behalf of Community Well-being and Resilience. This position conducts the bi-annual NCHA survey and helps promote the integration of this data and research into the community ethos. This role also supports, coordinates and promotes Well-being and Resilience events and activities.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Plan and conduct ACHA's bi-annual NCHA survey.
- Gather resources for participation and larger prizes and giveaways.
- Effectively engage 20% of students in survey completion by leveraging relationships and resources.
- Become knowledgeable about prior NCHA survey outcomes and effectively communicate about the survey, past findings, and how this work relates to the university to key constituents.
- Support Community Well-Being and Resilience events, services, and area.
- Maintain knowledge of W&R activities and services, as well as those of other related areas.
- Support the delivery of engaging education and outreach on a variety of well-being related topics.
- Attend, co-facilitate and/or lead Well-being and Resilience programming as assigned.
- Develop and display marketing materials that support well-being and resilience initiatives through Sharepoint and other university event promotion tools.
- Develops and maintain partnerships, relationships, and collaboration with SUN, the manager of the community newsletter, and other key constituents within the university community to help spread the word about this new area, as well as to help gather information that can inform effective outreach and programs.

- Create and maintain a positive team environment and behave professionally with everyone encountered in the course and scope of the job duties.
- Bachelor’s degree conferred.
- Master's degree at Naropa in progress.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Social, emotional, and relational intelligence and a willingness to receive feedback and grow.
- Organizational and administrative skills necessary to attend to details and fulfill deliverables according to timelines.
- Experience event planning, promotion, and marketing.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with students, faculty, administrators, staff, and community partners.

In the classrooms and on campus may experience: interruptions, distractions, heat, cold, dust and/or dampness. As a graduate assistant, you may spend extended periods time with any of the following:
- Reading academic texts and materials, student papers, etc.
- Operating personal computer and audio-visual equipment.
- Standing or sitting for hours at a time.
- Moving around campus for classes and meetings.
