Youth Sports Clinic Instructor - Boulder YMCA

Overview

The YMCA is seeking Youth Sports Clinic Instructors. This position is part time. Clinics are scheduled Monday nights 5:00-8:00PM.

The salary range is $15.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience, availability and certifications. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

• Teach introductory through intermediate skills, rules of play and the Y Way to Play using your own and provided lesson plans.
• Assist in officiating, including parent interaction.
• Ensure clinics run smoothly and safely with all activities starting and ending on schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Age 16 years or older.
• Significant involvement and understanding of the sport.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days.
• Know how to break down a skill and explain it so that participants can understand and perform the skill.
• Ability to organize and engage groups of children.
• Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people including kids, staff, other host staff, and community members.
