Job Summary
The Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling department seeks to hire a Clinical Support Professional (CSP) to assist the faculty of record with multiple course specific duties and offering support with the student experience in class.
This is a one-semester appointment assigned to a specific course.

This is a 3-credit course offered in the Low Res Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling concentration, online from May 18 – August 14, 2026.
Course Description
CNSM-651 Gestalt II:
Experiment (3 Credits)
Demonstrations of individual and group experiments are followed by didactic learning that further explores the central Gestalt themes. The concepts of organicity, figure-ground perceptual fields, polarities, top-dog/underdog, the four explosions, contact boundary, and satisfaction/frustration are explored. The process of a therapeutic experiment is introduced, and students learn to identify stages of a Gestalt working. Students work under the supervision of the teacher.
If this class is not successfully completed, both Gestalt I and Gestalt II must be retaken together. Prerequisite: CNSM

Course Description Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Attend class and class meetings.
• Facilitate limited in-class small group work related to learned clinical objectives.
• Monitor and assist in the instruction of specific course content within program goals.
• Support the faculty of record for this course by tracking the group dynamics of the class.
• Confer with course instructor regarding students’ learning as evidenced by class participation and assignments.
• Provide support as needed for CANVAS, Zoom, and email communications related to the course.
• Complete any and all faculty and staff trainings as required by the Human Resources Office, the Office of Academic Affairs, or the Office of Information Technology/Distance Learning within the time period set for completion by those departments.
• Other duties as assigned related to this course.
Required Qualifications
• Not currently enrolled as a Naropa student.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Understanding of Program specific info, like:

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Counseling, or a related field.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
Academic Support positions consist primarily of engaging and interacting with students through class participation, ongoing class assessment, as well as providing feedback to both students and the faculty of record for this course. This may also include:
• Reading academic texts and materials, student papers, etc.
• Operating personal computer and audio-visual equipment.
• Standing or sitting for hours at a time.
• Moving around campus for classes and meetings.
