Certified Middle School Special Ed Teacher | Boulder, Colorado

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active teaching license with a Special Education endorsement/certification.
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students (grades K-8).
• Knowledge of effective reading and math intervention strategies.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP implementation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with educational teams and families.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide pull-out services and targeted interventions in reading and math for K-8 students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Track student progress and adjust instructional approaches to maximize growth.
• Communicate regularly with classroom teachers and specialists to coordinate services.
• Foster an inclusive, growth-oriented learning atmosphere for all students.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in relevant meetings as needed.
