Job Description

Tact Staff EDU is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Bilingual Special Education Resource Teacher to support an elementary school team in Boulder, Colorado for a leave of absence assignment during the  school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting diverse learners, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping students achieve academic success in an inclusive environment.

Position Details
  • Assignment Type: Leave of Absence Coverage
  • Start Date: August 20, 2026
  • End Date: October 30, 2026
  • Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Onsite Position
Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students receiving special education services
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success
  • Implement and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate and compliant special education documentation
  • Support students in developing academic, organizational, and self-advocacy skills
  • Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
Qualifications
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License or currently in the process of obtaining licensure
  • Bilingual proficiency required
  • Minimum of one year of classroom experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to be a flexible and supportive team player
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students and special education populations preferred
