Tact Staff EDU is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (ECSE) to provide leave of absence coverage at a supportive school community in Boulder, Colorado. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners during a critical stage of development while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and related service providers.
This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood special education, inclusive practices, and helping students build the foundational skills needed for future success.
Position Details
- Start Date: August 20, 2026
- End Date: October 30, 2026
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Morning Session: 8:45 AM - 11:45 AM
- Afternoon Session: 12:45 PM - 3:45 PM
- Onsite Position Only
- Serve as the lead teacher for both morning and afternoon preschool special education classrooms
- Provide high-quality instruction and support for up to 18 students per classroom session
- Act as the service provider and case manager for up to 10 students receiving ECSE services
- Develop and implement individualized educational programming aligned with student IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
- Maintain compliant special education documentation and progress monitoring
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Two dedicated paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom
- Occupational Therapy services provided within the classroom setting
- Speech-Language Pathology services provided within the classroom setting
- Collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team environment
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) License required
- Experience working with preschool-aged students and students with special needs preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
