A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well‑being and works with students and families to promote student success. The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied on to provide insight and guidance regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.
Key Responsibilities- Administer diagnostic and curriculum‑based assessments.
- Use intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services.
- Observe students in various academic and social settings to gain insight and data into students' overall functioning in school.
- Provide consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP.
Pay ranges up to $60 per hour.
