Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to an engaging contract opportunity working with elementary students in a supportive, collaborative environment. This onsite, full-time role (35 hours weekly) spans the school year and allows you to positively impact the lives of young learners while working closely with educators and families in a dynamic school setting near Boulder, Colorado.
What were looking for:
- Valid, current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist license
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist in an educational setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively consult with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments, create intervention plans, and support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and safe school culture
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct psychological services and crisis intervention to students at Emerald Elementary and Pioneer Elementary
- Conducting evaluations for students using standardized assessments and observational methods
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and positive behavior support plans
- Consulting with teachers, administration, and families to enhance student engagement, mental health, and well-being
- Helping design and deliver school-wide prevention and intervention services
