SummaryThe Student Engagement TOSA supports administrators with students’ academic, social‑emotional well‑being, behavior, and post‑secondary success, specifically through the AALPS program. This includes collaboration with BVSD Student Support Services, Legal, Safety & Security, School and District Administrators, Special Education, Attendance Advocates, Engagement Specialists, and some student programming. This position provides the academic, program oversight, and social‑emotional support necessary to ensure a safe, supportive environment conducive to academic achievement and healthy personal development.
Responsibilities- Facilitate and support students’ learning and engagement through the AALPS program.
- Facilitate and oversee day‑to‑day operations s includes student intake process to and from the home school, classroom management, grading, staff meetings, facilitating MTSS and progress monitoring of AALPS students, communication/coordination with school‑based teams, and engagement specialists.
- Serve on district committees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Colorado Teaching License and Principal License.
- Minimum of five years of experience working with PK‑12 students.
Preferred:
- Minimum of three years of experience in PK‑12 leadership.
- Trauma‑Informed background.
Salary Placement varies according to experience and education. Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to BVSD or current BVSD employees that are new to the employee group (existing employees currently in this unit please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule). BVSD engages in a salary placement process versus a salary negotiation process. This information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience and education. All salaries are set by Human Resources based on a review of qualifications compared to the requirements on the job description; therefore listing all related education and experience on your application is recommended.
