Assistant/Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring an Assistant/Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior position in Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics (OLIA) Division, starting in Fall 2027.

We are seeking candidates with recent success or a strong potential in publishing high-quality and impactful research in leading management journals. A successful candidate should exhibit a strong willingness and ability to teach courses in organizational behavior and management, as well as a strong willingness and ability to effectively interact with faculty colleagues, students, staff, and external constituents. We are interested in candidates with a grounding in Organizational Behavior or an allied discipline who are pursuing work in the area of Organizational Behavior.

Minimum qualifications include a doctorate in Organizational Behavior or an allied discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Psychology, Labor and Employment Relations / Industrial Relations), a strong willingness and ability to teach courses in organizational behavior and management, and the demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality and impactful (quantitative and/or qualitative) academic research. Candidates who are Ph.D. students must be close to completion of their Ph.D. degrees (all completed but Ph.D. dissertation).

The Ph.D. degree should be obtained before the appointment starts.

The salary range for an Assistant Professor ($190,000–$200,000) or Associate Professor ($215,000–$230,000). Additional benefits include allowance with relocation expenses and for a computer, FDA (Faculty Development Account), and a specific amount of guaranteed summer research support.
