At Colorado Northwestern Community College's Rangely campus, student success isn't a metric on a dashboard - it's a conversation in the hallway, a follow-up call, and a face you recognize  First Year Experience Coordinator/Recruiter, you'll own both sides of that journey: bringing students through the door and making sure they find their footing once they arrive.

• Drive recruitment activity across the Rangely region - visiting high schools, attending community events, and building lasting relationships with prospective students and their families
• Design and coordinate new student orientation and first year programming that builds confidence, community, and a clear path forward
• Monitor early-alert signals and proactively connect at-risk first year students with the right support services
• Collaborate with faculty, advising, and Student Affairs colleagues to create a cohesive transition experience from inquiry through to second semester

• Associates degree, or experience in education, counseling, or a closely related field
• Providing outstanding customer service and an interest in helping students reach their potential especially in recruitment, first year programs, or college transition support
• A genuine interest in helping prospective students navigate college for the first time
• Strong communication skills across in-person, digital, and community settings - including confidence presenting to groups
• Ability to manage competing priorities across a full recruitment and academic calendar without dropping the ball on either
• Understanding of the unique needs of students served by rural community colleges in Colorado
