8+ years of network engineering or administration experience
Expertise in data center network design, including spine leaf architecture
CCIE or CCNP Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and OSI layer troubleshooting
Experience supporting LAN, WAN, firewalls, DNS, VLANs, IP addressing, and VPNs in on premises, cloud, and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure)
Solid understanding of network security, authentication (TACACS, RADIUS), and access controls Nice to Have Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands on experience with Dell switches, servers, and SAN environments
Security+ certification
5+ years of experience configuring and maintaining NAS and/or SAN systems

Job Description
An employer in Boulder, CO is looking for a Mid-Senior level Network Engineer to join their growing government services/contract specific team. This person will work closely with a talented team to assist in the design, configuration, testing, implementation and oversight of the computer networks that support our customers mission critical systems. They will be responsible for Installing, configuring and maintaining network devices and infrastructure, as well as monitoring network performance, availability, and system health.

They will troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure and network issues, and help to automate tasks and assess effectiveness. This is a full time, direct placement role posted at $140,000 - $180,000 /year (base salary) based on skill level and tenure.
