We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic technical writer to join our Next Gen Geo  NGG  Operations and Sustainment team  As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and optimizing processes

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with O&S team members to understand their documentation needs and operational procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and standardization

- Develop and write high quality, user friendly documents that meet the needs of various stakeholders, including process owners, employees, and customers

- Revise, edit, and update existing processes and procedures to ensure they remain current, compliant, and effective

- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of processes and procedures across the organization

- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement

- Participate in project team meetings and meet deadlines with support of team leads

- Integrate with the Project Engineering team and contribute to project engineering objectives as assigned

* Basic Qualifications:

* - Experience in technical writing, policy development, or a related field

- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including virtual teams, as required

- Ability to meet deadlines and quality standards

- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with subject matter experts and multi functional teams

- Ability to author technical content for procedure manuals, services manuals, and related technical publications that describe installation, operation and maintenance of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and other equipment

- Ability to author technical content that adheres to required standards, style guidance, contract requirements, and using clear and concise language

** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 9x80 every other Friday off

** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York  excluding most major metropolitan areas , Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100    $123,625  For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's…
