Project Engineer​/Level 3

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with project management

• Active Secret clearance required prior to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

We are seeking a level 3 Project Engineer with active Secret clearance to work from our Boulder, CO, location.

As a Project Engineer for the OPIR Infrastructure Team, you will:

• Provide support to Product Owners and Engineering Managers, working under very general supervision in support of larger team goals
• Support schedules/timelines for product team execution
• Help coordinate inter‑team dependencies and drive transparency across product teams, anticipating obstacles to performance
• Support and participate in working groups and technical exchange meetings
• Support staff meetings, documentation, data collection or inputs for presentations, produce/update presentations, track/provide/maintain metrics, work special assignments or ad hoc tasks, and other duties as assigned
• Apply critical thinking and initiative to help address tasks and requirements for the entire program in support of program goals
• Relentlessly seek automation opportunities in support of process improvement and embedded quality
• Be organized and flexible with strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and capacity to manage multiple tasks while thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

This is an early‑mid career (level
3) role where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

• Flexibility and determination to learn new skills
• Experience with Linux, A+, Sec+, and/or Net+.
• Process improvement experience
• Experienced with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence
