We are seeking a level 3 Project Engineer with active Secret clearance to work from our Boulder, CO, location.
As a Project Engineer for the OPIR Infrastructure Team, you will:
- Provide support to Product Owners and Engineering Managers, working under very general supervision in support of larger team goals
- Support schedules/timelines for product team execution
- Help coordinate inter‑team dependencies and drive transparency across product teams, anticipating obstacles to performance
- Support and participate in working groups and technical exchange meetings
- Support staff meetings, documentation, data collection or inputs for presentations, produce/update presentations, track/provide/maintain metrics, work special assignments or ad hoc tasks, and other duties as assigned
- Apply critical thinking and initiative to help address tasks and requirements for the entire program in support of program goals
- Relentlessly seek automation opportunities in support of process improvement and embedded quality
- Be organized and flexible with strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and capacity to manage multiple tasks while thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
This is an early‑mid career (level
3) role where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
- Flexibility and determination to learn new skills
- Experience with Linux, A+, Sec+, and/or Net+.
- Process improvement experience
- Experienced with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence
- Accountable and responsible, able to work in a team‑focused, dynamic environment
- Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies
- Knowledge of earned value management
- Experience with developing and maintaining cross‑functional schedules for projects or activities
- Positive/self‑starting attitude that is not slowed by perceived roadblocks
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, to include briefing senior leaders
- Experience with security classification guidelines and classified efforts
