** THE WORK*
* Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled
** level 2 Project Engineer with an active Secret clearance to work from our Boulder, CO, location *
* As a Project Engineer for the OPIR Infrastructure Team, you will  to include, but not limited to :

- Provide support to Product Owners and Engineering Managers, working under very general supervision in support of larger team goals

- Support schedules/timelines for product team execution

- Help coordinate inter team dependencies and drive transparency across product teams, anticipating obstacles to performance

- Support and participate in working groups and technical exchange meetings

- Support staff meetings, documentation, data collection or inputs for presentations, produce/update presentations, track/provide/maintain metrics, work special assignments or ad hoc tasks, and other duties as assigned

- Apply critical thinking and initiative to help address tasks and requirements for the entire program in support of program goals

- Relentlessly seek automation opportunities in support of process improvement and embedded quality

- Be organized and flexible with strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and capacity to manage multiple tasks while thriving in a fast paced, dynamic environment

** This is an EMERGING PROFESSIONAL  level 2  ROLE where candidates typically require 1  years
** of professional experience and a BS degree

* Basic Qualifications:

* - Demonstrated experience with project management

- Practical knowledge of project management tools

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

- Active Secret clearance is required prior to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Skills:

* - Flexibility and determination to learn new skills

- Experience with Linux, A , Sec , and or Net  

- Process improvement experience

- Experienced with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence

- Accountable and responsible, able to work in a team focused, dynamic environment

- Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies

- Knowledge of earned value management

- Experience with developing and maintaining cross functional schedules for projects or activities

- Positive/self starting attitude that is not slowed by perceived roadblocks

- Demonstrated effective communication skills, to include briefing senior leaders

- Experience with security classification guidelines and classified efforts

- Self driven, ability to work independently and in a team environment
