Position OverviewAs a Fired Heater Integrity Optimization Manager, you lead a team of consulting engineers while providing technical expertise in inspection, assessment, and integrity optimization of fired equipment. You deliver consulting services focused on performance improvement, risk mitigation, and asset life management. You collaborate with global teams, support software tools such as Life Quest and Correct
IR, and contribute to business development initiatives. You mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and drive continuous improvement in technical solutions and engineering practices.
- Managing assigned consulting engineers in the integrity optimization management of fired equipment.
- Providing consulting services related to the integrity optimization management of fired equipment that includes performance and reliability optimization, fitness for service and remaining life assessment, risk assessment, and failure analysis.
- Providing technical and training consulting services with respect to Correct
IR application and implementation, including management of assigned client licenses. - Product support and development of software applications related to the integrity optimization management of fired equipment (e.g., Life Quest Heater, Life Quest Reformer, Correct
IR) by working closely with the software business team. - Providing leadership and mentoring to junior Assessment Engineers.
- Maintaining proficiencies in other Advanced Engineering service roles as applicable (e.g., Inspector, Risk and Failure Analysis, and Assessment Engineer) and providing project support for other business teams as requested.
- Engaging in and contributing to business development within Advanced Engineering and other business teams as requested.
- Providing technical and project management support to Process and other business teams as requested.
- Managing client expectations and delivery of services and communicating client results and recommendations.
- Independently seeking technical knowledge that establishes industry credibility and subject matter expertise in fired equipment by presenting and participating in industry recognized conferences, training, and events.
- Providing recommendations to drive improvement in processes, technical solutions, inspection and assessment of technology, and software applications.
- Acting in accordance with company policies required as part of the engineering optimization of deliverable activities.
- Complying with all local governmental requirements set forth to perform required duties.
- Always making safety a top priority.

- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or Applied Science.
- Have 5+ years of experience in the process, refinery, or petrochemical industry.
- Have strong knowledge of API, ASME, and industry codes and standards for inspection and assessment.
- Have proven ability to lead teams and deliver technical consulting solutions.
- Have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in industrial environments.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally with clients.
- Have the ability to make independent technical decisions with operational impact.
- Have a strong customer focus with high attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Have proficiency in standard software tools and the ability to adapt to proprietary engineering systems.
- Have strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Have willingness to travel up to 33% (domestic and international).
- Have proficiency in English (verbal and written).
