Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
Job Summary
As a Ground Systems Engineer, you will support Millennium’s ground and mission control systems. You will design and develop ground system approaches for new programs, develop integration and test plans for software and hardware, work with customers and developers to deliver complete solutions, and provide cloud‑based application support. You will also lead proposal development efforts, be involved from contract start through launch, and sustain systems throughout program life.
PositionResponsibilities
- Lead definition of requirements for ground hardware and software.
- Manage customer relationships and conduct trade studies, development, and testing to meet mission requirements.
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver large‑scale mission control systems.
- Lead testing approach for all ground components, subsystems, and spacecraft in test configurations.
- Develop plans and procedures to integrate Millennium software into Government‑furnished software and infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and manage integrated system test events bridging Millennium‑developed products and Government‑furnished systems.
- Design interfaces and implementation plans for mission data processing applications to support payloads and programs’ user segments.
- Support ground systems during on‑orbit activities, including launch, early operations, on‑orbit test, normal operations, and end‑of‑life operations.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Post‑start clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM field.
- Experience designing and integrating new ground systems.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or STEM field.
- Two or more years of experience designing, developing, or operating ground systems.
- Understanding of ground system validation/verification testing.
- Active clearance.
Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.

Pay Range- Level 4: $146,200 – $215,000
- Level 5: $176,800 – $260,000
Position requires U.S. Person status as defined by U.S. export control regulations.
