We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineering Specialist to provide expert guidance and design support for industrial and infrastructure projects. This role combines hands‑on structural analysis, design, and technical leadership with mentoring of engineering teams and collaboration across projects. On‑site assessments and interaction with contractors and clients are essential to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead structural design and analysis for steel, concrete, foundations, and equipment supports.
- Prepare, review, and validate calculations, design sketches, and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing structures and oversee retrofit or new construction solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in technical peer reviews, constructability assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compile and analyze data, generate reports, and recommend solutions for engineering challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence across teams.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and security requirements on all projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant structural engineering experience in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required; SE license preferred. Ability to obtain local PE license required.
- Proficiency with structural software: STAAD, LPile, MathCAD, AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Office.
- Strong understanding of structural codes, design principles, and industry standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC).
- Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 20%) as required.
