Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, Scientist

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
• Coordinate and implement project permitting
• Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
• Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
• Management of clients
• Development of business opportunities
• Mentorship of staff

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
• PE or PG will be highly regarded
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
• Project experience in federal contracts is beneficial
• Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel to client meetings is required

Demonstrates expertise in Environmental Engineering and consulting, with a strong focus on project management, data interpretation, and client relationship management. Proficient in preparing technical documentation and navigating environmental regulations while mentoring staff and developing business opportunities.
