Position
Purpose:
The Sr. Test Engineer has the responsibility of supporting test engineering tasks associated with the development, qualification, and acceptance testing efforts of components and/or spacecraft systems. This engineer would be working in a team environment, sometimes with remote team members, engaging in test and support of flight spacecraft electronics. This engineer would be interacting directly with flight hardware electronics in a lab environment.
Development work will span test procedure development, writing and reviewing other’s automated test scripts, test equipment design, and executing tests using aerospace standard approaches. Other responsibilities may include data review and sign off, as well as mentorship and training to peers. This engineer has vast experience with test engineering best practices and applies those to testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and new development.

Pay Range: $108,000 - $155,000

On-site position at our Boulder, CO location (work locations are subject to change based on business need).

- Preparecomplex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reportsin order todemonstratecompliance to system requirements.
- Readschematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques
- Provide mentorship and guidance for team.

Education:
- Experience with hardware testing using oscilloscopes,multimetersand logic analyzers
- Experience with writing and executing manual and/or automated test procedures
- Experience with programming languages such asMATLAB,Ruby (COSMOS), and/or Python or similar
- Ability to work independently withminimaldirection and to be a self-starter
- Experience with component and/orspacecraft level system integration and test
- Thorough understandinganddemonstratedproficiencyof engineering principles and practices
