You are a passionate and driven scientist or engineer who enjoys thinking about complex problems in the marine environment. You have a strong foundation and interest in hydrodynamics, and coastal, estuarine, and/or fluvial processes. You have hands-on experience with numerical models that may include hydrodynamics, waves and coastal processes, and/or sediment transport. You are comfortable processing and analyzing data to support model setup, calibration, and validation and you are detail-oriented and curious.
You are interested and excited to apply your modeling skillset to a wide range of environmental challenges and are eager to tackle new problems. You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and enjoy collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team. You are motivated to grow your technical skills while contributing meaningfully to real-world water resources and environmental challenges.
