Job Responsibilities:
- Lead all accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and monthly close.
- Manage grants, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and cash flow projections for leadership.
- Oversee HR functions such as payroll, benefits administration, and compliance while fostering a culture of trust and inclusion.
- Integrate financial, HR, and operational systems and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and facilities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Quick Books Online, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and HRIS platforms.
- Apply strong analytical and organizational skills to manage complex financial and operational tasks.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Utilize knowledge of HR best practices and state employment laws to ensure compliance.
- Drive process improvements and implement risk management strategies across departments.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including three years in a leadership role.
- Possess nonprofit financial management experience and familiarity with grant accounting.
- Exhibit strategic thinking, adaptability, and ability to lead in a dynamic environment.
- Operate with integrity, professionalism, and commitment to equity and transparency.
