ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The SVP, Finance and Accounting is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the Bank’s accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax strategy, regulatory reporting, holding company financial management, and internal control functions. This position partners closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to support the Bank’s strategic initiatives, financial performance, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and long‑term growth. This role also provides executive oversight for specialized financial programs, including the Bank’s Qualified Settlement Fund (QSF) operations.

Responsibilities

Executive Leadership and Financial Strategy
  • Lead and oversee the accounting and finance functions of the Bank, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, asset/liability management support, and financial analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial strategies that support the Bank’s long‑term strategic goals and profitability objectives.
  • Provide financial insight and recommendations to executive management and the Board of Directors regarding operational performance, budgeting, capital planning, liquidity, and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including management and board reporting packages.
  • Monitor financial performance and key performance indicators and recommend corrective actions or strategic opportunities as needed.
  • Support the Bank’s growth initiatives through financial modeling, profitability analysis, and operational planning via financial forecasts, tax projections, and strategic analyses for the holding company and affiliated entities.
  • Assist executive leadership with strategic planning and organizational decision‑making.
  • Oversee the financial management, accounting, and reporting activities of the Bank’s holding company and affiliated entities, including oversight of intercompany accounting, tax coordination, and related financial activities.
