Vice President, Investment Banking

Roth Capital Partners, LLC is looking to add a VP to our Technology Team. Roth is a relationship‑driven investment bank focused on serving growth companies and their investors. In addition to capital markets and M&A advisory services, our full‑service platform provides a variety of capital markets solutions, including high impact equity research, macroeconomic perspectives, sales and trading, technical insights, derivatives strategies and corporate access.

• Lead and execute equity, debt, and M&A transactions across the Technology sector, managing deal processes from origination through closing.
• Build and maintain deep relationships with technology executives, boards of directors, and institutional investors to support client coverage and business development.
• Develop comprehensive financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials, including pitchbooks, management presentations, and offering memoranda.
• Oversee due diligence processes across technical, financial, legal, and regulatory work streams, coordinating cross‑functional teams and external advisors.
• Lead and mentor Associates and Analysts, fostering professional development and a high‑performance team culture.
• Actively support client origination efforts and contribute to the expansion of the firm’s Technology sector franchise.

• Deep understanding of technology company valuation methodologies, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
• Advanced financial modeling skills with strong attention to detail and analytical rigor.
• Demonstrated track record of transaction execution across multiple deal types and market environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean, fast‑paced, and dynamic environment.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple work streams simultaneously under tight deadlines.

• 5+ years of investment banking experience, with a focus on Technology (TMT);
  Director‑level consideration commensurate with experience.
• Demonstrated capital markets experience, including equity and/or debt transaction execution.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
