The Client Manager
Location: Boulder, CO – hybrid work arrangement, four days in office.
Job Overview: The Client Manager is a key member of the Client Advisory Team supporting Directors and Managing Directors in delivering comprehensive wealth management services to ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of multiple client relationships with the goal of becoming the trusted advisor for our client families.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone, video, and in-person meetings.
- Assist in identifying and addressing client needs while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Partner with the wealth planning team to ensure client tax, estate, and philanthropic plans are executed.
- Prepare and maintain client balance sheet and data aggregation (when applicable).
- Support business development efforts by contributing to material preparation and pitching new potential clients.
- Work with tax and wealth teams on pre-transaction tax mitigation strategies and concentrated position management (when applicable).
Investment Implementation:
- Support implementation of Investment Research Team’s guidance.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of investment policy statements.
- Support ongoing portfolio construction and rebalancing.
- Collaborate on discussions related to spending policy, cash flow planning, asset location and custody.
Analysis, Reporting & Operations:
- Prepare performance analyses and client presentation materials.
- Support quarterly reporting, including reconciliation and review.
- Act as liaison to external professionals (accountants, banks, attorneys, lenders).
- Mentor Associates and Senior Associates on reconciliations, reporting, account openings, and transfers.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational best practices.
- Assist with team projects related to client topics and business development efforts.
- Maintain industry pulse through research, conferences, and networking events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field required.
- 4–7+ years of experience in the financial management industry preferred; CFP preferred.
- Series 65 required (or to be attained within 90 days).
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and client service skills.
- Detail-oriented with time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
Salesforce experience preferred. - Comfortable communicating with clients and professional advisors on investments, tax, and estate items.
- Foundational knowledge of investment products (mutual funds, separately managed accounts, alternatives).
- Initiative, professionalism, ability to prioritize demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivation to learn, grow, and assume increasing responsibility.

Pay Transparency: $90,000 – $110,000 per year base. Additional discretionary bonus possible.
