We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Boulder, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to play a key role in supporting month-end and quarter-end close, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational finance activities.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and self-sufficient professional who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment and can take ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision. This role will work closely with finance and operational stakeholders and will have an opportunity to make a meaningful impact during an important period of growth and transformation for the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and financial integrity.
- Prepare and analyze monthly forecasts, budgets, and financial results.
- Perform detailed variance analysis and identify key business drivers, trends, and areas of opportunity.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational and leadership decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports and analysis.
- Support ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects as needed.
- Provide analytical and operational finance support to the manufacturing organization.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand financial performance and business trends.
- Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and delivered within established deadlines.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities while working with limited supervision.
- 5+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst or similar finance role, with strong preference for candidates operating at a senior, hands-on level.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience with month-end and quarter-end close, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and operate effectively in a changing environment.
- Manufacturing or operational finance experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working with European-based leadership or international stakeholders is a plus.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work fully on-site in Boulder, CO
