The Intensive Behavior Center (IBC) is an intensive, short-term treatment facility for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental illnesses. IBC provides an environment for building healthy, effective, and fulfilling lives so those receiving treatment can live successfully in the community after discharge.
The Quality and Compliance Specialist participates as a member of the Quality Management team. This position will oversee Therap Services (web-based record-keeping system) and its software suite, including online documentation, reporting, and communication modules (progress notes, incident reports, Medication Administration Records (MAR), utilization reports, etc.). Responsibilities include quality assurance of online documentation, researching, developing, and implementing new Therap modules, and presenting training to staff including documentation, database, and software training.
This position will create, prepare and implement new processes to meet regulatory requirements including reports, metrics, plan of correction, and survey readiness. This position also assists the Compliance/Quality Assurance Manager with ensuring conformance to regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and facility policy. Responsibilities include providing quality activities for the entire facility; monitoring, implementing, evaluating, and improving processes and programs that meet regulatory, accreditation, and standards of practice.
This position will conduct internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance procedures are up to date and followed. This position is integral to data collection, data input and data analysis. Tracking data in Excel, Therap, and other programs is required. Management reports will be prepared for compliance operations and progress.

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):
Bachelors Degree in Business and two years job related experience. Other directly related combinations of education/experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Preferred:
Certified Therap Services Trainer or willing to become certified if requested by facility administrator.
