What You’ll Be Doing

Direct Care & Treatment

  • Provide direct, individualized occupational therapy services in our clinic setting.
  • Plan and implement treatment sessions that promote occupational engagement and skill development using a client-centered approach.
  • Work collaboratively with the family unit, providing ongoing education that supports clients in reaching their goals.
  • Create and maintain an emotionally supportive and engaging therapeutic environment.

Evaluation, Re-evaluation, & Documentation

  • Evaluate new clients, completing assessments that inform treatment plans in the following skill areas: fine motor, visual motor, gross motor, sensory processing, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and self-advocacy.
  • Re-evaluate existing clients on an annual basis.
  • Timely completion of all required documentation, including weekly session notes, progress reports, evaluation reports, reevaluation reports, and discharge reports.
  • Collaborate and problem-solve meaningfully within our interdisciplinary team.

Professional Standards & Productivity

  • Maintain a 65% productivity rate. We intentionally keep this manageable to support work/life balance!
  • Adhere to all professional, ethical, and facility standards, including safety regulations and clinic policies.
  • Maintain necessary credentials and engage in ongoing continuing education.
