Within our care delivery system, the PCA/CNA performs duties that assist the caregivers and promotes effective departmental functioning.

# CNA certification or equivalent certification is preferred. Equivalent certifications include: EMT, MA, Military Medic or completion of 1st year of nursing core classes (not prerequisites for nursing school). # # BLS certification required within conditional period. Responsibilities # Answers patient call lights and performs appropriate follow-up in a timely manner. # Performs morning and evening ADLs (oral care, bathing, etc.).
