We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking Medical Assistant (MA) candidates to join our Pediatric Team! This position is benefit eligible, requires 38 hours per week in Boulder and Longmont.

• Full‑time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, flexible spending, company‑paid life insurance, voluntary benefit options, 401(k), paid time off (PTO), and six paid holidays annually.
• Part‑time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, voluntary benefits, 401(k), and holiday pay when scheduled to work on an observed holiday.
• Day shift schedules are Monday through Friday.

• Provides comprehensive professional nursing care to individuals and/or families acting as the patient's advocate, facilitator, and educator.
• Recognizes, evaluates, and responds to emergency or unusual situations in the clinic, using nursing judgment to ensure medical care.
• Assists the patient and/or instructs the patient in preparation for the provider's examination and/or specific treatment.
• Prepares examination/treatment rooms for provider's use by ensuring that appropriate supplies, equipment, and instruments are available and ready on a daily basis. Maintains examination/treatment rooms in a neat and orderly manner.
• Assists the provider with examination by anticipating needs for instruments and supplies (e.g., minor surgery, pelvic examinations, diagnostic procedures, etc.).

• Must be able to recognize and identify patient’s symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in the course of action.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
• Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.
• Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.

• Completion of Medical Assistant education. Certification is not required but preferred.
• Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active certification is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials (examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
• Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials.
• College graduates with a completed four‑year bachelor's degree is an acceptable substitution of Medical Assistant specific credentials. College transcripts must reflect completed health science coursework; please submit a copy of your unofficial college transcripts at the time of applying.

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting, preferred.

• $18.91 – $23.50 per hour (full range $18.91 – $27.54). Pay is commensurate with experience.
