Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
$28.00 – $35.00/hour + on-call pay. Relocation assistance up to $5,000 (3-year commitment).
Position SummaryThe Radiology/CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and long-term care settings. This role includes X‑ray, CT, and basic cardiac diagnostics while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high‑quality imaging standards.
- Perform X-ray, CT, EKGs, stress testing, and Holter monitor setup
- Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures
- Coordinate advanced imaging services (MRI, Ultrasound, etc.)
- Document procedures in EHR, PACS, and RIS systems
- Maintain safety, infection control, and radiation standards
- Communicate effectively with providers and care teams
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
- Participate in on‑call coverage rotation
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Support team operations and workflow as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong knowledge of radiology and CT imaging procedures
- Ability to operate imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Minimum of 1 year of imaging experience
- Rural or critical access hospital experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Certification (R) – Required
- ARRT Certification (CT) – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Additional modality certifications preferred
- Standing, walking, reaching regularly
- Occasional bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers
This position works in a clinical imaging environment with potential exposure to radiation, biohazards, chemicals, and moving equipment. Work may include variable shifts, on‑call responsibilities, and emergency situations.
