Job Summary

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will support patients by processing and dispensing specialty medications, including sterile compounding, managing inventory, and performing administrative and financial tasks. You will communicate with patients and assist pharmacists with follow‑up and clinical documentation.

• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications.
• Perform compounding of intravenous and sterile medications.
• Assist in managing inventory and performing charging and crediting functions.
• Execute routine clerical and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with pharmacists under supervision.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in Colorado.
• Valid CPT‑EXCPT, CPT‑PTCB, or CPHT certification in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months experience compounding IV medication.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical patient care best practices, regulatory compliance, and basic financial functions.
• Strong phone, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with office equipment and ability to learn new software/database systems.
• Ability to prepare and compound various medications, including intravenous admixtures.
• Ability to apply pharmacy standards, including I.V. admixture protocols and automated systems.
• Effective communication in English.

Position type: PRN, hourly. Wage range: $20.13 to $30.56 per hour.

Schedule:

Five 10‑hour shifts during a 6‑week cycle, covering call‑offs, vacations, or coverage needs.

Hours:

Monday–Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (including holidays). PRN positions do not receive benefits but offer a 15% differential on top of the base rate.
