Boulder County Coroner's Office is seeking to hire up to 2 Unpaid Interns, Fall 2026 - Medicolegal Investigations. Collegiate opportunities available during Spring, Summer, and Fall terms. Collegiate interns must meet their school requirements for credit. Non‑collegiate opportunities are available on a case‑by‑case basis. Both collegiate and non‑collegiate individuals must commit to 12–20 hours per week during the term.
This internship is not a paid or benefited position. Dates:
August 24, 2026 – December 8, 2026. The internship requires 12‑20 hours per week, Monday–Friday 7:00 am–8:00 pm depending on scheduling.

, Boulder, Colorado. Boulder County requires employees to reside in Colorado as of the first day of work.

- If currently enrolled, a minimum GPA of 3.0 while pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in health, human science, forensic science, or criminal justice.
- Job offer contingent upon passing a background investigation with fingerprinting.
- Applicants must pass a pre‑employment drug test.
- Applicants must complete an internship agreement to confirm participation.
- Interns must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current college enrollment or graduation from a nationally accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Field of study such as health or human science, forensic science, or criminal justice.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals under stress.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, agencies, and the public.
