Boulder Community Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform high quality diagnostic Ultrasound exams in the areas of Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging. You will assist the Radiologists with procedures and ensure optimal patient care. As a proficient communicator, you will serve as a problem-solving leader and organizer, by fostering effective collaboration with staff. Qualifications:
- ARDMS certified or registry eligible.
- Sonographer Level II, III and IV are based on additional certifications in High Risk OB(HROB);
Musculo-Skeletal; and/or Fetal Echocardiography.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care
- Performs US exams, using good judgement in scanning, understanding all anatomical measurements, and documenting anatomy/pathology
- Assists the Radiologists and other physicians with interpretation of exams.
- Assists the Radiologists and physicians with US guided invasive procedures.
- Work closely with radiologists and other physicians.
- Transports patients to and from department or other areas within the hospital.
- Monitors and cleans US equipment and reports equipment malfunction to biomed and the supervisor.
- Works toward the goal of quality assurance.
- Works on-call after hours.
