THE ROLE
Ignitus Recovery is a growing behavioral health organization providing residential and outpatient treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders at Cherry Hills Recovery and AIM Health in Boulder. This role offers a unique opportunity to help rebuild an exceptional outpatient treatment program at AIM Health, Boulder focused on treating young adults.
The clinician provides client-centered clinical services across outpatient levels of care (PHP, IOP). This role is responsible for assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, documentation, and coordination of care using a recovery oriented system of care in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based approach. Clinicians work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support client safety, engagement, and long-term recovery outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, risk screenings, and ASAM-aligned clinical evaluations
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on client progress and clinical need
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy focused on recovery, safety, and skill development
- Facilitate scheduled clinical programming and maintain accurate attendance records
- Complete all clinical documentation in the EHR/EMR within required time frames and regulatory standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care with internal and external providers
- Support discharge planning, aftercare recommendations, and continuity of care across levels of service
- Maintain a therapeutic environment that is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-empowering
- Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a behavioral health–related field
- LPC, LSW, LMFT, and or CAS
- Experience providing therapy in residential and/or outpatient SUD or co-occurring settings
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria, clinical documentation standards, and client safety practices
- Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems
- CPR/First Aid certification and other state-required credentials
- Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal and crisis-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
