In your role as a Crisis and Intake Therapist, you will join an exceptional team at Banner Health providing comprehensive mental health evaluations and coordinating behavioral health care. You will ensure the most appropriate level of care is being given in accordance with all state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures. This position provides crisis assessment and support to patients and family members who are experiencing serious psychological or psychoactive substance abuse disorders.

Being able to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams within the organization and outside agencies is a must (this includes providing telehealth services for other Banner facilities). This position will support patients in person at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley and Banner Fort Collins Medical Center as well as telehealth cervices to support our rural hospitals.

Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday nights, 7pm to 7:30am, fixed schedule with alternating holidays. Enjoy a flat rate $5.00/hour night shift differential when applicable.

This position assesses and coordinates behavioral health care to ensure the most appropriate level of care in accordance with all state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures. FUNCTIONS

Performs emergent/non-emergent behavioral health assessment of mental health and psychoactive substance abuse patients. Makes recommendations regarding patient’s level of care needs and resources. Coordinates inpatient and outpatient admissions or alternate level of care facilities. Provides crisis stabilization therapy or intervention therapy skills during critically changing behavioral situations. Coordination with the patient’s family, attending physician, or other hospitals and agencies may be required.
