Travel Ultrasound Technologist​/Sonographer - Sonography​/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a day shift contract requiring ARRT, ARDMS certification, and 2+ years of experience.

• Current ARRT and ARDMS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Must maintain compliance with continuing medical education (CME)
• Ability to perform general diagnostic radiology procedures
• State license required if applicable and must be currently active

• Perform general ultrasound exams including abdomens, OB, GYN, breast, and vascular/arterial studies
• Day shift Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm
• No call, weekends, or holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract assignment
• Work independently evaluating, synthesizing, and communicating diagnostic information to referring physicians and radiologists
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of all patients in the Imaging Department
• Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and communicate with service engineers for repairs as needed
• Willingness to cross-train into other imaging modalities
• Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties including patient scheduling
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and the healthcare team
