Community Life Coordinator

What You Will Do As a Community Life Coordinator, you'll create meaningful, person-centered experiences that enrich the daily lives of residents living with memory loss. You'll plan and lead engaging programs, activities, and outings that support cognitive, emotional, physical, and social well-being while fostering a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment.
You'll build meaningful connections with residents, tailoring activities to their interests, abilities, and life experiences. Working closely with caregivers, nursing staff, families, and other team members, you'll help ensure programming promotes dignity, purpose, comfort, and engagement.
Responsibilities include coordinating activity calendars, preparing program materials and spaces, supporting community outings, maintaining required documentation, and helping create positive daily experiences that enhance quality of life for residents and their families.
What You Will Earn Pay Range: $21.05-$31.60 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule:
Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening, holiday and weekend availability to support resident events, outings, and special programs.
What You Will Need Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to supporting older adults, including those living with memory loss Strong communication, customer service, organization, and relationship-building skills Ability to lead engaging activities and adapt programs to meet residents' interests, abilities, and changing needs Understanding of person-centered care and dementia-friendly engagement practices preferred Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with electronic documentation systems preferred High school diploma or equivalent required;
bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Two years of experience in senior living, memory support, recreation, activities, healthcare, hospitality, or a related field preferred Experience planning or facilitating activities, events, or enrichment programs preferred Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record required Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
